Customer Service Representative Time Card Calculator — Timesheet for five 8-hour days plus a Saturday shift

A weekly time card pre-set the way customer service representatives actually work: five 8-hour days plus a Saturday shift. Adjust the shifts to your own week — overtime split and gross pay follow instantly.

In short: This card starts from a typical customer service representative week — Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break (8 paid hours), plus Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (4 paid hours) — at $18/hour. That week totals 44:00 hours and $828.00 gross under the federal weekly rule. Change any shift, break or the rate and the whole week recalculates.

How It Works — Overtime for Customer Service Representatives

The card turns each shift into paid minutes (clock-out minus clock-in, minus unpaid breaks; overnight shifts roll into the next day), then splits the week: the first 40 paid hours are regular, the rest are overtime at 1.5×. Rules summarized from the US Department of Labor (FLSA). Last verified: November 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does time spent logging in and loading systems count?

Yes, when it is required and integral to the job: booting up, opening the CRM and call tools, and reading mandatory shift updates are hours worked. The Supreme Court’s integral-and-indispensable test covers exactly this kind of start-of-shift work.

Is after-call work (wrap-up) paid?

Yes. Documenting the call, sending follow-ups and finishing required notes are part of the job and are compensable — including when they run past the scheduled end of shift.

Can my employer require weekend overtime?

Generally yes — federal law allows mandatory overtime for most adult employees as long as it is paid at 1.5× past 40 hours. What an employer cannot do is take the hours and skip the premium, or move hours between weeks to hide them.

How do I check a paycheck with a quality bonus?

Add the bonus to the week’s (or period’s) pay, divide by hours to get the true regular rate, then rebuild the week here at that rate and compare the overtime line with the stub.

Does this card save my week?

Yes — automatically, in your browser’s local storage on this device only. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Archive a finished week and it stays viewable on the same device (up to 12 archived weeks).

How it works — the formula

The formula: Gross = (regular hours × rate) + (overtime hours × rate × 1.5), where overtime hours are the paid hours beyond 40 in the workweek.

Worked example

The pre-loaded week — Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break (8 paid hours), plus Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (4 paid hours) — is Monday 8 h, Tuesday 8 h, Wednesday 8 h, Thursday 8 h, Friday 8 h, Saturday 4 h: 44:00 paid hours. At the pre-set rate that is 40:00 regular ($720.00) + 4:00 overtime ($108.00) = $828.00 gross before taxes.

Disclaimer: Estimates only — not payroll or legal advice. Your employer's payroll rules and state law control your actual pay. Figures are rounded for display; your pay stub and payroll department are the official record.
