What this tool set is, how it works, and who makes it.
Muslims check the same things every day: when Fajr ends, what the Hijri date is, which way the Qibla faces in a new city, how long is left until Iftar. Loona Islamic Tools puts all of those answers on fast, free pages that work on any phone — no app install, no account, no cost.
Prayer times are calculated with the widely used PrayTimes solar algorithm. Five recognised calculation methods are built in (University of Islamic Sciences Karachi, ISNA, Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority and Umm al-Qura), and every page displays the method and the Asr school (Hanafi or Shafi) used for the numbers on screen, so you can always match the settings your local masjid follows. For extreme latitudes the Angle-Based high-latitude adjustment is applied. The build of this site was tested against published timetables for Faisalabad and Karachi; all six daily times matched within two minutes.
Loona Automation builds free, problem-solving web tools: QR code generators, calculators, salary and gratuity calculators for the Gulf and Europe, and teacher tools. Zakat and Hijri conversion also live on Loona Calculators and are linked from our homepage.
If you ever find a time that disagrees with your local masjid’s timetable, first check the method and Asr settings on the page — most differences come from settings, not errors. If it still looks wrong, email us at loonaautomation@gmail.com with the city and date and we will check it.
