Every calculator comes with a worked example and answers to common questions, so you do not just get a number — you understand it. This website is a project of Loona Automation and, like Loona QR Codes and the Image Compressor, it is completely free.
Enter your date of birth and find your exact age — in years, months and days. The correct age matters for forms, job applications and school admissions, and this tool gets it exactly right.
Yes — 100% free, no signup, no limit. Your dates never leave your device; the calculation happens in your browser.
Yes. Change the second date (Age at Date) to any past or future date, for example an exam or job application deadline.
Yes — the calendar calculation handles leap years automatically.
Enter your wealth — cash, bank balance, gold, silver and business goods — and find out exactly how much zakat you owe. Everything is calculated inside your own browser; no data ever leaves your device.
Nisab is the minimum wealth above which zakat becomes obligatory: 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver in value. This calculator uses the lower of the two when you enter both rates.
No. Everything is calculated inside your browser — nothing is sent or stored anywhere.
Yes — this tool gives an estimate. For your exact religious obligation, please confirm with a trusted scholar (mufti).
Enter your subject marks and credit hours to get your semester GPA instantly. If you also enter a previous CGPA, the tool combines everything into your cumulative CGPA.
The common HEC scale: 85+ marks = 4.0, 80 = 3.7, 75 = 3.3, 70 = 3.0, 65 = 2.7, 61 = 2.3, 58 = 2.0, 55 = 1.7, 51 = 1.3, 50 = 1.0, below 50 = 0.
The result is an estimate on the HEC scale. Check your university's official scale for exact figures.
GPA is for one semester; CGPA is the average of all semesters weighted by credit hours.
Three everyday percentage calculations in one place: find a percentage of a number, see what percent one number is of another, and measure the percentage increase or decrease between two values.
Choose the first mode, enter X (the percent) and Y (the number). Example: 20% of 500 = 100.
(New − Old) ÷ Old × 100. A positive answer is an increase, negative is a decrease.
Yes — and for marks specifically, try our Marks Percentage Calculator.
Convert any Gregorian (English) date into the Islamic Hijri date — or the other way around. Perfect for checking Ramadan and Eid dates, Islamic birthdays and religious occasions.
The Umm al-Qura calendar, the official calendar of Saudi Arabia, which most apps and devices use.
Some countries sight the moon locally, so the official date can differ by one day from the calculated calendar.
Yes — choose the Hijri to Gregorian direction and enter the Hijri year, month and day.
Enter the loan amount, rate and tenure to see your monthly installment (EMI), the total interest or profit, and the total you will repay. For bank, car and personal loans — always worth checking before you sign.
EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) is the fixed amount you pay every month until the loan ends — part principal, part interest/profit.
If your financing gives a total payable amount, enter the profit rate that matches it — the installment math is the same. Ask your bank for the exact rate.
Enter 0 — the calculator simply divides the amount by the number of months.
Enter your weight and height to learn whether your weight is in the healthy range — underweight, normal, overweight or obese. Height can be entered in centimetres or in feet and inches.
For adults, 18.5 to 24.9 is the normal range. Below 18.5 is underweight, 25–29.9 overweight, and 30+ obese.
BMI is a general guide. Muscular athletes can show a high BMI without excess fat — consult a doctor for a full assessment.
This calculator uses the adult scale. Children's BMI is read on age-based charts.
How many days are there between two dates? For deadlines, visa periods, contracts or counting down to a special day — just select the start and end dates.
The main result counts the difference (end − start). We also show the inclusive count (+1 day) if your end date should be counted too.
Yes — set the future date as the end date.
The result also breaks the days into weeks and extra days.
How much does money grow over time? Enter the principal, rate and years to see the final amount with a year-by-year growth table. You can include a monthly deposit to model regular savings.
Interest earned on both your money and on the interest already added — so growth speeds up over time.
More frequent compounding (monthly, daily) grows money slightly faster than yearly at the same rate.
Yes — enter a monthly deposit and it is included in the growth table.
Enter your obtained marks and the total marks to get your percentage and grade instantly — for matric, intermediate, university and every other exam.
Obtained marks ÷ total marks × 100.
A common scale: 90%+ A+, 80%+ A, 70%+ B, 60%+ C, 50%+ D, below 50 F. Your board's scale may differ slightly.
Yes — the result shows how many more marks you would need to reach 90%.
Estimate your monthly electricity bill before it arrives. Enter the units you used — every slab rate can be edited, so you can type in the latest rates of your own company (LESCO, IESCO, K-Electric and others) for the closest estimate.
Rates change with government notifications, fuel price adjustments (FPA) and your consumer category (protected/unprotected). Enter the rates printed on your own bill for the closest estimate.
Electricity is charged in blocks: the first 100 units at one rate, the next 100 at a higher rate, and so on. This calculator applies each slab correctly.
Add them in the Other charges field — they appear on your bill and vary every month.
Convert land and plot area between the units used in Pakistan and India: Marla, Kanal, Acre, Gaj (square yards), square feet and square metres — with both marla sizes, 272.25 and 225 sq ft.
Standard marla = 272.25 sq ft. In some areas an older marla of 225 sq ft is used — you can select it in this tool.
1 kanal = 20 marla. 1 acre = 8 kanal = 160 marla.
Gaj is the square yard: 1 gaj = 9 sq ft.
Enter your monthly salary to see how much income tax will be deducted and what your net take-home pay will be. Calculated on Pakistan's salaried tax slabs (Tax Year 2026) — or apply your own flat percentage instead.
The salaried individual slabs for Tax Year 2026: no tax up to Rs 600,000/year, then 1%, 11%, 23%, 30% and 35% bands. Slabs change in budgets — verify with the latest FBR table.
It is a close estimate on salary income only. Other income, allowances and exemptions can change your real tax.
Your total tax divided by your total salary, shown as a percentage.
What will that sale item really cost you? Enter the price and the discount percentage to see the final price and your savings — with options for a second extra discount and tax added afterwards.
Final price = price × (1 − discount ÷ 100).
Some sales add a second discount on the already-reduced price. Enter it as the extra discount — it applies after the first one.
Yes — enter the tax percent and it is added on the discounted price, like most shops do.
Convert CGPA into percentage — with the famous ×9.5 formula on the 10-point scale, a direct conversion on the 4-point scale, or your own university's custom multiplier.
The ×9.5 formula is used by CBSE and many boards to convert a 10-point CGPA into an approximate percentage.
It is an estimate — every board and university can use its own formula. For official use, confirm with your institution.
Divide by the same multiplier: percentage ÷ 9.5 gives the 10-scale CGPA.
Add or subtract two durations — hours, minutes and seconds. Ideal for total work hours, journey times, or the combined length of videos and tasks.
Yes — large results are also shown with days.
Add each day's hours and minutes, or subtract a break duration from the total shift time.
No — leave them empty and they count as zero.
Enter the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) to find your expected due date, which week of pregnancy you are in, and your current trimester.
By Naegele's rule: LMP + 280 days (40 weeks), assuming a regular 28-day cycle.
Only about 1 in 20 babies arrive exactly on the due date — it is an estimate. Your doctor's ultrasound dates can be more accurate.
Due dates shift a little with cycle length. Confirm with your gynecologist.
Simple interest made easy: enter the principal, the yearly rate and the time to see the interest and the total amount — for school maths, loans and everyday money questions.
I = P × R × T ÷ 100, where P is principal, R is the yearly rate and T is time in years.
Simple interest is charged only on the original principal; compound interest also grows on past interest.
Yes — put 0 years and your months in the months field.
Enter how many classes have been held and how many you attended to see your attendance percentage — plus how many classes you still need for your target (for example 75%), or how many you can safely miss.
Attended ÷ held × 100.
The number of future classes you could skip and still stay at or above your target — attend more than that and the figure changes.
Keep the target at 75 (it is pre-filled) and enter your held and attended classes.
Enter two names and see your playful love percentage. Just a light-hearted game for fun and sharing with friends — never a real measure of any relationship.
No — it is a fun game based on the letters of the names. Real relationships are not measured by any calculator.
Yes — the same two names always give the same percentage.
No. Names are processed in your browser only.
Planning to borrow? Enter the loan amount, the annual interest rate and the tenure to see your exact monthly payment, the total interest you will pay, and the full cost of the loan — before you sign anything.
With the standard EMI formula used by banks: the loan is spread into equal monthly payments, each part principal and part interest, so the balance reaches zero with the last payment.
Yes — any loan with a fixed rate and fixed term. For home loans with extra options, also try our Mortgage Calculator.
Enter 0 — the calculator simply divides the amount by the number of months.
Buying a home is the biggest loan most people ever take. Enter the home price, your down payment, the interest rate and the term to see the real monthly payment and the true total cost of the house.
The part of the price you pay yourself upfront. The rest is the loan. A bigger down payment means a smaller loan and less total interest.
No — it covers principal and interest only. Property taxes, insurance and bank fees add to the real cost.
The result shows total interest separately — on long terms it can approach or exceed the amount borrowed, which is why the rate matters so much.
Small monthly savings grow surprisingly large. Enter what you can set aside each month, the expected rate and the number of years to see the future value of your savings habit.
At the start of each month, with monthly compounding — the common way regular savings plans are modelled.
No — the rate is the one you enter. Bank accounts, savings schemes and investments all pay differently and can change over time.
That tool starts from one lump sum (with an optional deposit). This one is built purely around a fixed monthly deposit.
See what your money could become. Combine a starting amount with regular monthly additions and an expected annual return to project the future value of your investment.
No. This is a projection using the steady return you enter. Real markets move up and down, and past performance never guarantees future results.
At the end of each month, with monthly compounding.
Use a realistic long-term average for your investment type — and try a lower, cautious figure too, so you see a range instead of one hopeful number.
Eating out with friends? Enter the bill, choose a tip percentage and split the total fairly — tip amount, total bill and each person's share, all in one tap.
It varies by country and service: around 10% is common in many places, 15-20% for great service in the US, while some countries include service charges in the bill.
Yes — the total (bill plus tip) is divided equally among the number of people you enter.
Keep the number of people at 1 — you will simply see the tip and the total.
Working with invoices or prices that include tax? Add VAT, GST or sales tax to a net amount — or strip it out of a gross amount — at any rate, for any country.
Net is the amount before tax; gross is the amount including tax. This calculator converts in both directions.
Any — VAT in Europe and the Gulf, GST in Pakistan, India, Canada and Australia, and sales tax in the US all use the same maths. Just enter your rate.
Net = gross ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100). The tax is the difference — it is NOT simply the rate percent of the gross amount.
How many calories does your body burn each day? Your BMR is what you burn at complete rest; your TDEE adds your daily activity. Both are the starting point for any weight plan.
BMR is the energy your body needs at complete rest just to stay alive. TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) multiplies BMR by your activity level to estimate your real daily burn.
The Mifflin-St Jeor formula, considered the most accurate general estimate: for men 10×weight + 6.25×height − 5×age + 5; for women the same but − 161.
No — it is a well-tested estimate. Individual metabolism varies; a doctor or dietitian can measure yours more precisely.
Tell this calculator your details and your goal — lose, maintain or gain weight — and get a daily calorie target based on your real energy needs, with a built-in safety minimum.
The target uses a 500 kcal daily deficit, which changes weight by roughly 0.5 kg per week — a steady, sustainable pace.
Eating fewer than 1,200 kcal per day risks nutrient deficiencies and is not recommended without medical supervision, so this calculator never suggests less.
It is a starting target, not a personal plan. For medical conditions, pregnancy or a structured diet, please consult a doctor or dietitian.
How much water should you drink each day? Enter your weight and how much you exercise to get a personalised daily target in litres — and in simple glasses.
A widely used guide: 35 ml per kilogram of body weight, plus about 350 ml for every 30 minutes of exercise.
All fluids and water-rich foods contribute something, but plain water is the easiest way to meet most of your target.
Yes, extreme amounts are harmful. Follow the guide, drink more in hot weather or heavy work, and let thirst guide you too.
What should you weigh for your height? Enter your height to get your ideal weight by the classic Devine formula — plus the full healthy weight range from the BMI scale.
A long-used medical formula: men start at 50 kg for 5 feet of height plus 2.3 kg per extra inch; women start at 45.5 kg. This calculator converts your centimetres automatically.
Yes — the healthy BMI range (18.5-24.9) is the wider medical guide. The single Devine number is just the classic midpoint estimate.
Yes. Muscular people can weigh more while being perfectly healthy. Use this as a guide and consult a doctor for personal advice.
What date is 90 days from today? Or 6 months before a deadline? Pick a start date, add or subtract any mix of days, weeks, months and years, and get the exact resulting date.
Years first, then months, then weeks and days — the natural calendar order, so month-end dates behave the way people expect in everyday planning.
Yes — choose Subtract and enter the amounts to go backwards from the start date.
That tool measures the gap between two dates. This one starts from one date and moves it forward or backward.
How many actual working days are in your leave, deadline or project window? Enter two dates to split the period into total days, working days and weekend days.
Yes — the count includes both dates, which is how leave and deadline periods are usually counted.
No — holidays differ by country and company, so only Saturdays and Sundays are treated as weekend days. Subtract your local holidays from the working-days figure if needed.
No problem — the two dates are sorted automatically.
Planning a pregnancy? Enter the first day of your last period and your usual cycle length to estimate your ovulation day, your most fertile window and your next period.
Ovulation usually happens about 14 days before the next period, so it is estimated as: last period + cycle length − 14 days. The fertile window is the 5 days before ovulation plus ovulation day itself.
No. Cycles vary from month to month and estimates can be off by several days. Never rely on a calculator to prevent pregnancy.
If you conceive in this cycle, an estimated due date of ovulation + 266 days. It is an estimate only — your doctor will confirm with scans.
Planning a trip? Enter the distance, your vehicle's mileage and today's fuel price to know exactly how many litres you will burn and what the journey will cost.
Fill the tank, note the odometer, drive, then refill: kilometres driven ÷ litres refilled = your real mileage. Or use the figure from your car's dashboard or manual.
Yes — distance, fuel needed and cost are all doubled for the return journey.
Traffic jams, air conditioning, heavy loads, hills and driving style all change consumption. Keep a small buffer on long trips.
One converter for the units you meet every day: length, weight, temperature, volume and area — kilometres to miles, kilograms to pounds, Celsius to Fahrenheit and many more, all with exact standard factors.
Exact international definitions: 1 mile = 1,609.344 metres, 1 pound = 0.45359237 kg, 1 US gallon = 3.785411784 litres. Temperature uses the standard formulas, not factors.
The From and To units must belong to the category you selected — for example, you cannot convert kilograms (Weight) into miles (Length).
Land units for Pakistan and India have their own dedicated tool — try our Marla / Kanal Area Converter.
Selling a product and want to know how much you really earn on each sale? Enter the cost price and the selling price to see your profit, your profit margin percentage and your markup percentage — the three numbers every seller should know.
Margin is profit as a percentage of the SELLING price; markup is profit as a percentage of the COST price. The same Rs 200 profit is a 20% margin but a 25% markup on an Rs 800 cost.
No — margin can never exceed 100%, because profit is always part of the selling price. Markup, however, can go far beyond 100%.
Then the result shows a loss — a negative profit and a negative margin — so you can see exactly how much you lose on each sale.
How many units must you sell before your business stops losing money? Enter your fixed costs, the selling price per unit and the variable cost per unit to find your break-even point in units and in revenue.
The sales level at which total revenue exactly covers total costs — no profit, no loss. Every unit sold beyond it adds profit.
Each sale first has to pay its own variable cost. If the price does not even cover that, every extra sale increases the loss and break-even is impossible.
Yes — units are rounded UP to the next whole unit, because you cannot sell a fraction of a unit and rounding down would leave you just short of covering your costs.
Did that investment actually do well? Enter what you put in, what you got back and how long you held it to see your total return on investment — plus the annualized return that lets you compare investments of different lengths fairly.
Return on Investment = (amount returned − amount invested) ÷ amount invested × 100. It measures how much your money grew in total.
The average yearly growth rate that would carry your investment from its start value to its end value — useful for comparing a 2-year investment with a 5-year one.
Only if you include them: enter the net amount you actually received after fees and taxes as the amount returned.
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) invests a fixed amount every month. Enter your monthly amount, the expected annual return and the number of years to project what your plan could grow into.
At the START of each month, with monthly compounding — the standard way SIP projections are calculated.
No. Market returns are never guaranteed and never grow in a straight line. This is a projection to help you plan, not a promise by any fund or scheme.
A SIP spreads your money across many months, so you invest at many different prices; a lump sum invests everything at once. Our Investment Calculator covers a lump sum with monthly additions.
A fixed deposit locks your money for a set period at a rate fixed in advance. Enter the deposit, the rate, the tenure and how often interest compounds to see the exact maturity value.
How often the bank adds the interest you have earned to your deposit, so it starts earning interest itself. Quarterly compounding is common for fixed deposits; monthly compounding grows slightly faster.
The rate is fixed when you open the deposit, unlike market investments. But early withdrawal usually earns a lower rate, and tax may apply to the interest.
That tool is general-purpose and shows a year-by-year table. This one is shaped exactly like a bank FD: tenure in months or years and the standard compounding frequencies.
A recurring deposit builds a lump sum out of a fixed monthly deposit. Enter the monthly amount, the annual rate and the tenure to see the maturity value, calculated the way banks do — with quarterly compounding.
Each monthly deposit earns interest for the time it stays in the account, and interest is compounded every quarter (every 3 months). This calculator uses that same standard method, with each deposit assumed at the start of the month.
Banks usually charge a small penalty and the maturity value drops a little. This estimate assumes every deposit is made on time.
They suit different savers: an FD starts from one lump sum you already have, while an RD builds the sum gradually from monthly deposits. Their interest rates are usually similar.
Gratuity is the lump sum an employer pays in recognition of long service. Enter your last drawn monthly salary and your completed years of service for an instant estimate.
Using the convention common in Pakistan: 30 days' wages for every completed year of service — which equals one full month's last drawn salary per year. So gratuity = last monthly salary × completed years of service.
No — it is an estimate. Your employer's rules, your employment category and the current law decide the exact figure, and employers differ on which allowances count towards the salary figure.
Typically long-serving employees at retirement or the end of qualifying service; in the event of death during service it is paid to the family. Check your employment terms and the current law for your eligibility.
Will you have enough when you stop working? Enter your age, your planned retirement age, what you have already saved and what you add each month to project the corpus waiting for you at retirement.
At the end of each month, with monthly compounding. Your current savings grow for the full period until retirement.
No — the corpus is in future rupees, which will buy less than today's rupees. Our Inflation Calculator shows how much less; careful planning aims higher to allow for it.
No. It is the steady average you enter. Real returns vary from year to year, and past performance never guarantees future results.
Inflation quietly shrinks money. Enter any amount, the yearly inflation rate and a number of years to see two things: what today's goods will cost then, and what today's money will actually be worth.
Use your country's recent long-term average consumer inflation — many countries average 5-8% over long periods, though individual years can be far higher. Trying a higher rate as well gives you a cautious picture.
Prices rise but the notes do not grow. Money must earn at least the inflation rate just to keep its buying power — one reason people invest rather than only save.
They are mirror images: future cost shows prices rising, while purchasing power shows your fixed amount of money shrinking to match.
CAGR smooths bumpy growth into one clean yearly rate. Enter the starting value, the ending value and the number of years to find the compound annual growth rate between them.
Compound Annual Growth Rate: the steady yearly rate that would carry the beginning value to the ending value if growth were perfectly smooth. The real path was bumpy — the rate exists to make different periods comparable.
Yes — if the ending value is smaller than the beginning value, CAGR is negative and shows the average yearly rate of decline.
A simple average ignores compounding and can seriously mislead. CAGR accounts for growth building on growth, which is how money actually behaves.
Paste or type a list of numbers — marks, prices, scores, measurements, anything — and get the full picture at once: mean, median, mode, sum and more.
The mean is the sum divided by the count. The median is the middle value when the numbers are sorted. The mode is the value that appears most often.
The mean suits evenly spread data. The median is better when a few very large or small values would pull the mean away from the typical value — household incomes are the classic example.
Up to 50 numbers, separated by commas, spaces or a mix of both.
Simplify any ratio to its simplest whole-number form — and if you add a total, split that total between the two sides in exactly the same proportion.
Both sides are divided by their greatest common divisor (decimals are first scaled into whole numbers), giving the smallest whole-number ratio with exactly the same proportion.
Money between partners, ingredients in a recipe, time between tasks — anything that must be divided in a fixed proportion.
Yes — 2 : 1 is the opposite split of 1 : 2. The first share always belongs to the first value you enter.
Fraction homework, or a recipe that needs adjusting? Enter two fractions, choose the operation, and get the exact simplified answer — as a fraction, a mixed number and a decimal.
The result's numerator and denominator are divided by their greatest common divisor, so 6/12 is shown as 1/2.
A whole number plus a proper fraction — for example 5/4 is written as 1 1/4. Mixed numbers are easier to picture for measurements and cooking.
Enter them as fractions instead: 0.5 is 1/2, 0.25 is 1/4 and 0.75 is 3/4. Numerators and denominators here must be whole numbers.
A complete statistics summary from a single list of numbers: central values, spread, variance and standard deviation — for students, teachers, researchers and everyday data work.
Use population when your numbers are the complete set you care about. Use sample when your numbers are drawn from a larger group — it divides by (count − 1) instead of count to correct the estimate.
How spread out the numbers are around the mean. A small standard deviation means the values cluster tightly; a large one means they are widely scattered.
The average of the squared differences from the mean. Standard deviation is simply its square root, which brings the measure back into the original units.
Enter two whole numbers — or three — and get their LCM (lowest common multiple) and HCF (highest common factor, also called GCD) at once. Essential for fractions, ratios and school maths.
The HCF is the largest number that divides both numbers exactly. The LCM is the smallest number that both numbers divide into exactly.
Yes — Highest Common Factor and Greatest Common Divisor are two names for the same value.
Adding and simplifying fractions needs the LCM of the denominators and the HCF of the numerator and denominator; ratio, tiling and scheduling problems use them too.
Powers made simple: enter a base and any exponent — including fractions and negatives — and get the result, plus a handy table showing the base's square, cube and roots.
An exponent of 0.5 is the square root, and 1/3 is the cube root — fractional powers are roots in disguise.
It flips the number into a fraction: 2^-2 = 1 / (2 × 2) = 0.25. The result gets smaller; the exponent's sign never makes the answer negative by itself.
A negative base with a fractional exponent (like -4^0.5) has no real-number answer, so the calculator reports that honestly instead of inventing a value.
Enter any number and see every common root and power of it in a single table: square root, cube root, fourth and fifth roots, its square and its cube.
The square root of a number is the value that, multiplied by itself, gives the number back — 12 × 12 = 144, so the square root of 144 is 12.
No real number multiplied by itself gives a negative result, so negative numbers have no real square root. This tool covers the standard set of roots used in school and everyday work.
The 4th root is the square root of the square root; higher roots appear in geometry, engineering and growth calculations.
How long will that card balance really take to clear — and how much interest will it cost you on the way? Enter the balance, the card's APR and the fixed amount you can pay every month.
If your payment does not cover even one month's interest, the balance grows instead of shrinking and can never be cleared. The warning tells you the first month's interest — any lasting payment must be above it.
Yes — the estimate assumes no new spending on the card, no fees, and the same fixed payment every month. New purchases or missed payments will lengthen the payoff.
Enormously — every extra amount reduces the balance that next month's interest is charged on. Try raising the payment above and watch the total interest fall.
A car costs more than its sticker price once financing is added. Enter the vehicle price, your down payment, the interest rate and the term to see the real monthly payment — and what the car will actually cost you in total.
Registration, insurance, dealer and bank processing fees, and taxes — these vary and are added on top by the seller or bank. The calculator covers the loan itself.
Yes, twice over: the loan is smaller, so the monthly payment drops and you pay interest on less money. Try raising the down payment and watch the total interest fall.
The monthly payment falls, but you pay interest for more months — the total interest almost always grows. Compare the total cost row, not just the monthly payment.
When assignments carry different weights, a simple average lies. Enter each assignment's score and weight — up to 8 of them — and get your true weighted grade as a percentage and a letter grade.
Because the calculator divides by the total weight you actually entered. Entering weights of 40 and 10 is the same as 80 and 20 — only the proportions matter.
A+ from 90%, A from 80%, B from 70%, C from 60%, D from 50%, and F below 50%. Your school may use a different scale — the percentage is the figure that transfers.
Yes — blank rows, and rows with a weight of 0, are simply ignored.
Enter the letter grade and credit hours for each course — up to 8 courses — and get your GPA on the standard 4.0 scale, weighted properly by credit hours.
A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0 and F = 0 — the standard 4.0 scale.
A 4-credit A lifts your GPA more than a 1-credit A, because the GPA is a credit-weighted average. This calculator handles the weighting for you.
Then try our CGPA Calculator, which takes subject marks out of 100 and applies the HEC grade scale common in Pakistan.
The reverse of our CGPA-to-percentage tool: enter your percentage and convert it to a CGPA out of 10 or a GPA out of 4, using the formulas boards and universities commonly apply.
Because the common conversion runs the other way — Percentage = CGPA × 9.5 (the CBSE-style formula) — so recovering the CGPA means dividing by 9.5.
A percentage above 95 would mathematically give more than a perfect 10, so the result is capped at 10 — the maximum on the scale.
Boards and universities each set their own formula. This tool uses the most widely used ones; for official documents, confirm the formula with your institution.
Chasing a target CGPA? Enter where you stand, how many credits are behind you and how many remain — the calculator tells you exactly what GPA the remaining credits must average, and warns you honestly if the target is already out of reach.
Then the target cannot be reached in the remaining credits, no matter how well you do. The calculator shows the maximum CGPA a perfect 4.0 run would give you, so you can re-plan early.
At many universities, yes — replacing a low grade raises the CGPA without needing extra credits. Check your university's repeat policy; this calculator covers the remaining-credits path.
It raises what every later semester must average. Run the numbers after each semester so the target never drifts out of reach silently.
All you need is a tape measure. The US Navy circumference method estimates body fat from your height, neck and waist (plus hips for women) — no scales, scans or clinic visit required for a solid estimate.
Against clinical methods it is usually within a few percent when measurements are taken carefully. Tape tension and posture matter — measure at the same time of day for comparable results.
They follow the American Council on Exercise ranges — for men: Essential up to 5%, Athletes 6-13%, Fitness 14-17%, Average 18-24%, Obese 25% and above; women's ranges run higher, as healthy female body fat is naturally higher.
The Navy equations were fitted to thousands of measured sailors; the waist-minus-neck difference tracks abdominal fat while cancelling out general frame size.
Counting calories is only half the picture — the split between carbohydrates, protein and fat shapes how those calories work. Enter your daily calorie target, pick a split, and get exact grams per day for each macro.
Carbohydrates and protein provide 4 kcal per gram and fat provides 9 kcal per gram, so each macro's calorie share is divided by its energy value.
Balanced suits most people. High Protein supports muscle building and satiety, Low Carb and Keto restrict carbohydrates progressively further. Anyone with a medical condition should consult a doctor or dietitian first.
No — treat them as daily targets with a few percent of give either way. Consistency over weeks matters far more than a perfect day.
Waking up mid-cycle is what makes mornings feel brutal. Sleep runs in cycles of about 90 minutes, so this calculator counts backwards (or forwards) in full cycles and adds about 14 minutes to fall asleep — giving you bedtimes and wake-up times that work with your biology.
A full human sleep cycle — light sleep, deep sleep and dreaming (REM) — averages about 90 minutes. Waking at a cycle boundary, between dreams, feels markedly easier.
Most adults do best with 5 or 6 full cycles — 7 hours 30 minutes to 9 hours. Four cycles (6 hours) is a short-night fallback, not a routine.
It is the average time people take to fall asleep, and yes — without it the cycles end 14 minutes before your alarm. If you fall asleep much faster or slower, shift the suggested times by the difference.
Working backwards from a due date is the standard way pregnancies are dated. Enter the expected due date and get the estimated conception date, the estimated first day of the last period, and when the first trimester ends.
A pregnancy averages 280 days from the last period, and conception typically occurs about 14 days after it — 266 days before the due date. These are the standard averages medicine uses.
It is an estimate within several days either way; sperm survival and cycle variation mean the true date can differ. Only ultrasound dating narrows it further.
For the forward direction — last period to due date — use our Pregnancy Due Date Calculator.
How much older is one sibling, partner or classmate than another — exactly? Enter two dates of birth and get the precise gap in years, months and days, plus the total number of days between the two births.
No — the calculator sorts them itself and tells you which person is older.
Yes — the gap is computed on the real calendar, so every 29 February between the two dates is included.
The calculator reports a difference of 0 days and notes that the two are exactly the same age.
How long between 9:30 AM and 5:45 PM — or between a 10 PM departure and a 6:30 AM arrival? Enter any start and end time on the 24-hour clock and get the exact duration, including overnight spans.
Whenever the end time is earlier than the start time, it is treated as falling on the next day — the standard assumption for shifts, flights and journeys.
Payroll, billing and timesheets often need hours as a decimal (8.25 instead of 8:15). Both forms are shown so you can use whichever your form demands.
Identical times mean a duration of zero — enter an end time earlier than the start if you mean a full day later.
Timesheets, shift planning and pay checks all start with one question: how many hours did I actually work? Enter start, finish and your unpaid break to get net hours per day and per week — and add an hourly rate to see the pay figures too.
Yes — if the end time is earlier than the start time, it is counted as the next day, so a 10 PM to 6 AM shift computes correctly.
Unpaid breaks are not working time in most contracts and payroll systems. If your break is paid, simply enter 0 minutes.
Before — they are gross estimates from the hours and rate you enter. Actual payslips may include overtime rates, allowances and deductions.
Businesses, schools and logistics run on week numbers, but calendars rarely print them. Pick any date and instantly get its ISO week number, its day of the year, the days remaining, and its calendar quarter.
Weeks start on Monday, and week 1 is the week containing the year's first Thursday. It is the standard used across Europe, in business planning and in most software.
Because an ISO week belongs to the year holding its Thursday. 1 January 2023, for instance, is in week 52 of ISO year 2022 — the calculator shows both the week and its ISO year.
Delivery promises ('ships in week 44'), school terms, project plans and production schedules are all commonly quoted in ISO weeks.
A cup of flour and a cup of honey weigh nothing alike — that is why plain volume-to-weight conversion fails in the kitchen. Pick the ingredient, and this calculator converts through its real density, the way professional bakers do.
Volume-to-weight conversion needs density (grams per millilitre). Flour is about 0.52 g/ml, honey about 1.42 g/ml — nearly three times heavier per cup.
They are standard kitchen averages for spooned, level measures. Packed flour or heaped spoons weigh more; for precision baking, weigh ingredients in grams.
The US cup of 236.588 ml, the measure used in most online recipes. Tablespoons are 14.787 ml and teaspoons 4.929 ml.
Speed is just distance divided by time — but the mental arithmetic is rarely welcome mid-journey or mid-workout. Enter the distance and time and get speed in both km/h and mph, plus running-style pace figures.
Speed measures distance per hour (km/h, mph); pace measures time per unit of distance (minutes per km or mile). Runners think in pace, drivers in speed — both are shown.
Yes — enter the trip distance and driving time for the average speed. Remember averages hide stops and slow sections, so peak speeds were higher.
Divide by 1.609344 — or just read the mph row, which this calculator always shows alongside.
Training for a race, or checking what your last run's pace really was? Enter the distance and finish time to get your pace per kilometre and per mile — and see what that same pace predicts for all four classic race distances.
They assume an identical pace at every distance, but real runners slow as distance grows. Treat long-distance predictions as targets to train towards, not guarantees.
Many new runners sit between 6:00 and 7:30 per kilometre. Comfort matters more than the number — you should be able to speak in short sentences at an easy pace.
5K, 10K, the half marathon (21.0975 km) and the marathon (42.195 km) — the official road-race distances — plus any custom distance you type in.
Ordering shoes from another country means decoding three sizing systems at once. Enter a US, UK or EU size — or your foot length in centimetres — and get the closest match in every system, for men and women.
No single official shoe chart exists — brands convert slightly differently, so results are matched to the nearest row of the standard chart. Half a size of brand variation is normal.
Foot length in centimetres. Measure in the evening (feet swell during the day), standing, from heel to the longest toe, and use the longer of your two feet.
The same number means different lengths on each chart — a women's US 8 is not a men's US 8. Always pick the right chart above.
