Frequently Asked Questions

Are these duas authentic?

Yes — every dua here is a well-known, widely published supplication, and each card shows its source: a Qur’an reference or the hadith collection it is narrated in (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi and others).

How is the library organised?

By the moment you need it: morning and evening, food and drink, home, travel, the mosque, forgiveness, anxiety and hardship, family, and everyday situations. Tap a category chip or search by keyword.

Can I read the duas without knowing Arabic?

Every dua includes a full transliteration and an English translation under the Arabic text, so you can recite it and understand its meaning at the same time.

How many duas are in the library?

There are 31 duas at launch, covering the daily situations a Muslim meets most often. The library grows carefully — only duas whose Arabic text and source we can verify are added.

How it works

The library is a fixed, hand-checked set of 31 daily duas stored in the page itself — nothing is fetched when you browse it. Every card carries the same four parts: the Arabic text, a transliteration for readers who cannot yet read Arabic script, an English translation, and the source it was taken from, whether a hadith collection with its number or a Qur’an reference. The cards are grouped into nine moment-based categories — Morning & Evening, Food & Drink, Home, Travel, Anxiety & Hardship and others — with filter chips at the top, and the search box matches titles, meanings and everyday keywords.

Worked example

Tap the ‘Morning & Evening’ chip, or type ‘wake’ in the search box, and the first card is ‘When You Wake Up’: Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba’da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur — ‘All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after He caused us to die, and unto Him is the resurrection’ — sourced to Sahih al-Bukhari 6312.

Frequently asked questions

Does the library include duas from the Qur’an as well as from Hadith?

Yes — every card names its source. Alongside hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and Musnad Ahmad, the library includes Qur’anic supplications referenced by surah and verse, for example Rabbana atina (Qur’an 2:201) and the dua of Yunus (Qur’an 21:87).

Can I search by the situation I am in, rather than by a title?

Yes — the search understands everyday words. Try ‘eating’, ‘rain’, ‘parents’ or ‘sick’ and the matching cards stay on screen while the rest disappear. The category chips do the same job organised by the moment of the day or the kind of need.

Is there a dua for when I feel anxious or burdened?

Yes — the Anxiety & Hardship category gathers four duas for difficult moments in one place, including the well-known dua against worry and grief, which asks Allah for refuge from sorrow, incapacity, laziness and the burden of debt.

Why does the transliteration in my own dua book look slightly different?

Transliteration is a convention, not a spelling with one official form: the same Arabic word appears as ba’da, baada or ba’ada in different books, and long vowels are marked in some books and not others. The Arabic text on every card is the fixed reference; the transliteration is only a reading aid.

Can I read the duas without an internet connection?

Once the page has loaded, yes. All 31 duas — Arabic, transliteration, translation and sources — are part of the page itself, so the library keeps working on a plane, in a village with no signal, or anywhere else the page is already open.
