Screenshot Beautifier — Turn Screenshots into Share-Ready Images

In short: the Screenshot Beautifier places your screenshot on a rich gradient backdrop with generous padding, rounded corners, a soft shadow and a light frame edge — the polished look you see on product pages and social posts — and exports it as one PNG.

A raw screenshot looks flat in a feed; the same screenshot floating on a gradient with breathing room looks like a product launch. Paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard (Ctrl+V), tune the padding, and download an image that earns attention.

Private by design: everything in this tool happens 100% in your browser with JavaScript. Your data, photos and designs are never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by us - close the tab and everything is gone.

How to use the Screenshot Beautifier

  1. Upload a screenshot — or simply copy one and press Ctrl+V anywhere on this page to paste it.
  2. Pick a gradient backdrop (tap a swatch) — Teal Gold, Sunset, Ocean, Grape, Rose, Slate, Sand or Forest.
  3. Adjust the padding around the screenshot and its corner rounding; toggle the soft shadow and frame edge.
  4. Press Download beautified PNG and share it anywhere.

How it works

The output canvas is computed from the screenshot’s own size plus your padding on every side, so the screenshot itself is never cropped or stretched — large screenshots are fitted to at most 1400 pixels on their long edge to keep the export fast. The gradient is painted diagonally, the screenshot is clipped to a rounded rectangle, and the shadow is rendered by the canvas shadow engine before the image is drawn. Pasting reads the image directly from your clipboard inside the browser.

Worked example

A teacher screenshots her online quiz results page, pastes it here, chooses the Ocean gradient with wide padding, and downloads a post-ready image for the school page — no student names visible, and the results look like an announcement, not a screen grab.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I paste a screenshot?

Copy a screenshot to your clipboard (for example with the Snipping Tool or Print Screen), open this page and press Ctrl+V. The image appears instantly — no file needed.

Is my screenshot uploaded?

No. Pasting and uploading both load the image only into your browser; the beautified PNG is created on your device.

Will my screenshot be resized?

Only if it is very large: screenshots are fitted to a maximum of 1400 pixels on the long edge so exports stay quick. The proportions are never changed.

Can I use a plain background instead of a gradient?

Pick the Sand gradient for a near-solid light backdrop, or the Slate option for a near-solid dark one.

What can I use the result for?

Social posts, blog headers, app-store style previews, tutorials and presentations — anywhere a screenshot needs to look designed.
