The Short Version

Your files never leave your device. Every Loona PDF Tools operation - merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing and editing - is performed 100% locally in your web browser using JavaScript. We have no upload server for your documents, we cannot see them, and nothing about their content is collected, stored or shared.

What Happens to Your Files

Files you choose are read into your browser's memory only, processed on your device, and offered back to you as a download.
When you close or refresh the tab, the file data in memory is discarded by your browser.
We never receive, store, back up or analyse your documents, images, signatures or extracted text.

Analytics and Advertising

Like most free websites, we use privacy-respecting measurement and advertising services that may collect anonymous usage data (such as pages visited and device type) through cookies or similar technologies:

Google Analytics - helps us understand which tools are popular so we can improve them.
Microsoft Clarity - shows us anonymous interaction patterns (clicks and scrolls) so we can fix confusing layouts.
Google AdSense - displays advertisements that keep the tools free; Google may use cookies to personalise ads.

These services never receive the files you process - those never leave your device. You can block or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings; the tools will still work.
