Loona Doughnut Chart Maker — Free Donut Charts with Centre Total
A doughnut is a pie with better manners: the same exact proportions, but with room in the middle for the headline number. Dashboards and reports love it.
How to use the Doughnut Chart Maker
- Type your labels and numbers into the grid, or paste CSV into the box below the chart and press Apply CSV.
- Adjust the title, legend and per-series colours until the chart reads clearly at a glance.
- Press Download chart as PNG and drop the image into your document, slides or post. Use Copy my data as CSV to save your figures for later.
How it works
The ring uses the same exact slice maths as the pie (value ÷ total × 360°), with the centre left open to show the total. Percentages appear in slices of 4%+ and always in the legend. The chart is drawn by hand on an HTML canvas by Loona’s shared chart engine — no chart library and no server. Everything is computed locally, so your numbers never leave your device.
Worked example
An online teacher shows course progress — 26 of 40 lessons complete — as a doughnut with "40" lessons in the centre, and pins it to the course page.
