- Adjust the title, legend and per-series colours until the chart reads clearly at a glance.
- Press Download chart as PNG and drop the image into your document, slides or post. Use Copy my data as CSV to save your figures for later.
How it works
Slice angles are exact proportions of the total, and slices of 4% or more carry their percentage inside. The legend lists every label with its value and percentage, so small slices stay readable even without an inside label. The chart is drawn by hand on an HTML canvas by Loona’s shared chart engine — no chart library and no server. Everything is computed locally, so your numbers never leave your device.
Worked example
A student turns her monthly budget into a pie for a class presentation: rent is 45%, food 28% — the class sees instantly where the money goes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which series does the pie use?
The first series. Put the values you want as slices in the first column of numbers; extra series are ignored by the pie.
Why does a slice have no percentage inside?
Slices under 4% are too small for a label; their percentage still appears in the legend.
How many slices work well?
Up to about seven. Group tiny categories into "Other" for a clearer pie — or try the Waffle Chart Maker for many parts.
Is my data uploaded?
Never — the pie is drawn 100% in your browser.
