Loona Find and Replace - Change Words in Bulk
A name spelled two ways through a whole document, a product renamed at the last minute, 'Rs.' that must become 'PKR' everywhere - fixing these by hand is slow and error-prone. Type the old text, type the new text, and replace all at once.
How to use the Find and Replace
- Paste your text into the big box.
- Type what to find and what to replace it with - leave 'Replace with' empty to simply delete every occurrence.
- Choose options if needed, then click Replace All. The status line confirms the exact count.
How it works
In normal mode the tool treats your search text literally - dots, brackets and other special characters are just characters. Case-sensitive matching compares letters exactly; whole-word mode only matches where the text is bounded by spaces or punctuation, so replacing 'cat' never touches 'category'. Pattern mode (regular expressions) is for advanced users: your pattern is compiled as-is, so things like \d+ can match every number in the text. The count is measured before replacing, so the report is always honest.
Worked example
A school notice says 'Mr. Ahmad' in 7 places but the name is 'Mr. Ahmed'. Find 'Ahmad', replace with 'Ahmed', click Replace All - the status confirms '7 replacements made', and no other word in the notice was touched.
