Loona Lorem Ipsum Generator - Dummy Text in One Click
Designers and developers need filler text that looks like real writing without saying anything, so the layout - not the words - gets judged. Choose how much you need, click once, and copy clean lorem ipsum with proper sentences and paragraphs.
How to use the Lorem Ipsum Generator
- Choose paragraphs, sentences or words, and how many you need.
- Keep the classic opening ticked for the traditional start, or untick it for fresh dummy text.
- Click Generate, then copy and paste the text straight into your design or document.
How it works
The generator builds text from the traditional Latin word bank of lorem ipsum, assembling random sentences of natural length (5 to 12 words) with commas where a reader would pause, and paragraphs of 3 to 6 sentences. Because the words are meaningless Latin, reviewers judge your layout, typography and spacing - never the content. The classic mode opens with the centuries-old first sentence exactly as printers have used it since the 1500s.
Worked example
Choose Paragraphs = 2 with the classic opening on: you get the famous 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit...' first paragraph plus a freshly generated second one - enough to fill a two-column brochure panel and show the client the layout today.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the lorem ipsum generator free?
Yes - completely free, no sign-up, generate as often as you like.
What does lorem ipsum mean?
It is scrambled Latin from Cicero's writings of 45 BC. It has no real meaning in this form - that is precisely why designers use it.
Why not just type random letters?
Random letters have no word shapes or rhythm, so layouts look wrong. Lorem ipsum has realistic word lengths and sentence patterns, so designs are judged fairly.
Can I generate a single sentence for a banner?
Yes - choose Sentences and the count 1, or Words with a small count for headlines.
Is anything uploaded?
No - the text is generated in your browser.
