Exam Countdown Planner โ Days Left, Fully Planned
A weekly timetable answers "what do I study each week?" This planner answers the exam-season question: "with exactly N days left, what do I study on each one?" It counts the real days, weights your weak subjects heavier, and leaves nothing to the last-night panic.
Subjects & difficulty (weight)
How to Use It
- Enter your exam date โ the countdown shows the exact number of days remaining.
- Set sessions per day and minutes per session โ realistic beats heroic; three focused 45-minute sessions beat eight distracted ones.
- List your subjects with a weight: 1 for subjects you are comfortable with, up to 3โ5 for the ones that need the most work.
- Build the plan: every remaining day is filled with sessions, rotating subjects so the same subject rarely appears twice in one day, with more sessions going to higher-weight subjects.
- Print it and tick days off as you go. If a day is missed, do not double up โ just continue with the next day.
How It Works
The planner counts whole days between today and the exam date, then distributes sessions with a fairness algorithm: at each step it picks the subject whose sessions-so-far are lowest relative to its weight, so by exam day every subject's session count is proportional to the weight you gave it. Sessions within a day avoid repeating the same subject when alternatives exist. Total sessions and total hours are shown up front, so the plan is honest about the work involved.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the Study Timetable Planner?
The timetable is a repeating weekly schedule for the whole term. This countdown planner is a one-off, day-by-day plan for the exact days between today and one specific exam โ use the timetable during the term and the countdown plan in the final stretch.
What does "weight" mean?
How much work a subject needs relative to others. Weight 3 gets roughly three times as many sessions as weight 1. Be honest: the subject you avoid is usually the one that needs the highest weight.
What should I do on the last day before the exam?
Keep it light: glance through summary notes, formulas and past mistakes, prepare your things, and sleep early. The planner's totals include that day โ treat its sessions as gentle review, not new learning.
What if I only have 2โ3 days left?
The plan still works โ it simply concentrates sessions. With very few days, raise sessions per day modestly and set weights ruthlessly: only the highest-yield subjects deserve weight 3+.
Is anything saved?
No. The plan is generated in your browser and gone when you leave, so print it if you want to keep it.
