Word Wall Cards Generator โ Big Words for the Wall
A word wall only works if children can actually read it from their seats. These cards are sized for that: one word per card, heavy border, large type โ no fiddly formatting standing between your list and the wall.
How to Use It
- Type your words, one per line. Sight-word lists (Dolch/Fry words), topic vocabulary and spelling lists all work.
- Choose the size: 2 per row for very young readers, 3 for a standard wall, 4 for a compact display.
- Make cards and print. Cards keep their borders when printed; cut along the card edges.
- Tip: print on card or laminate for a wall that survives the whole year.
How It Works
Each word becomes an individual bordered card in a print-friendly grid. The generator does no styling magic beyond size and weight, deliberately: word wall cards must stay readable at three metres, and consistency matters more than decoration. Your list never leaves the device.
