Labelled Diagram Maker โ Pin, Print, Quiz
Diagrams are where subjects become visual, but textbooks never have exactly the diagram you need at the level you need. With your own image (a photo, a scan, a screenshot) and pins, any picture becomes a labelled teaching diagram and a self-marking quiz.
2. Click anywhere on the image to add a numbered pin, then type its label. In quiz mode the labels hide and students type them from memory.
How to Use It
- Choose an image from your device. It is loaded locally in your browser โ never uploaded anywhere.
- Click the image where a label belongs; a numbered pin appears and you type its label. Click a pin to remove it.
- Print with labels listed for a teaching handout, or turn quiz mode ON to hide the labels first for a test version.
- Quiz mode: students type each pin's label and press Check for an instant score with corrections.
How It Works
Pins are stored as percentage positions on the image, so they stay in the right place at any screen or print size. The image itself is read as a local data URL by your browser and exists only in this page's memory. Quiz answers are compared ignoring capitals and extra spaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
What images work best?
Clear diagrams with distinct parts: science diagrams, maps, anatomy, parts of a plant or flower, a bicycle, a computer. Busy photographs make pin placement harder to judge.
Is my image uploaded or saved?
No. The file is read by your browser into the page and disappears when you close it. There is no server copy and nothing in local storage.
Can I print a blank version for a paper test?
Yes โ turn quiz mode ON before printing: the label list hides and only the numbered pins print, so students write the labels by hand.
