Printable Paper Generator โ The Right Paper, On Demand
Every classroom runs out of graph paper the day before the graphs lesson. A generator ends that: the paper is always in stock, the spacing is exact, and handwriting paper matches the guide lines young writers need.
Print at 100% scale (turn off "fit to page") for true spacing. The preview below is a 180 ร 240 mm page area.
How to Use It
- Choose the paper type โ graph, dot grid, isometric, handwriting (3-line) or wide-ruled.
- Choose spacing โ 8, 10 or 14 mm. Larger spacing suits younger children and bigger handwriting.
- Generate and print at 100% scale. In the print dialog, disable "Fit to page" / scaling so the spacing stays true.
- Print multiple copies directly from the print dialog for a whole class set.
How It Works
The page is drawn as vector graphics in real millimetre units (a 180 ร 240 mm printable area), so lines and dots land exactly where specified when printed at 100%. Handwriting paper uses the classic three-line group: solid top and base lines with a dashed mid line. Isometric paper offsets alternate dot rows by half a spacing, the geometry 3D drawing needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my printed spacing look slightly off?
Almost always printer scaling. Choose "Actual size" or 100% in the print dialog and turn off headers/footers; browser print defaults often shrink pages to fit margins.
Which paper for handwriting practice?
The 3-line paper at 14 mm for beginners (it matches the Handwriting Practice Generator's guides), moving to 10 mm as writing shrinks. Wide-ruled is for ordinary written work.
Is isometric paper really for drawing?
Yes โ the triangular dot arrangement lets students draw cubes and 3D shapes with edges at 30ยฐ, 90ยฐ and 150ยฐ, a staple of design and technology lessons.
