Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Loona Study Tools runs entirely in your browser. The flashcards, quizzes, worksheets and timetables you create are never uploaded to any server. They are stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device, and you can delete them at any time by clearing your browser data. We do not have user accounts and we never ask for your name, email address or password on this website.

What Happens to Your Study Material

Everything you type into a tool — flashcard fronts and backs, quiz questions, subject names, timetable entries — is processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. Saved decks and quizzes live in your browser's localStorage so they are still there when you return. This data never leaves your device unless you deliberately export it as a file or print it. If you use a shared or school computer, remember that anyone using the same browser profile could open the site and see locally saved decks; export and clear them if that matters to you.

Analytics and Advertising

Like most free websites, we use third-party services that may place cookies on your device:

Google AdSense — displays advertising that keeps the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com.
Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand which tools are popular, in aggregate. It collects anonymous usage information such as pages visited, device type and approximate region; it does not give us the content of your flashcards or quizzes.
Microsoft Clarity — provides anonymised heatmaps and session insights so we can fix confusing layouts. Clarity masks typed content and does not record the text of your study material.

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not sell any personal information — we do not collect personal information to sell in the first place.

Cookies

Apart from the third-party cookies described above, this website itself sets no tracking cookies. Your study data is kept in localStorage, which is a browser storage area, not a cookie, and it is never transmitted to us. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time; the tools will still work, though saved decks will be lost if you clear site data.

Children's Privacy

The tools are designed to be safe for school use: they ask for no personal information, contain no chat or social features, and require no account. Students should still follow their school's internet-use rules. Teachers and parents who have questions are welcome to contact us.

Your Choices & Contact
